This is a Winchester model 88 Lever Action 243 made in 1970 or 1971.  The blueing on the rifle is pretty good – Stock has some wear and damage. These rifles were developed from 1955 through 1973.

The Model 88 is the 3rd best selling lever action by Winchester.  The 1894 and 1892 are the only ones more popular.
